A free Central City South Community Connection Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Matthew Henson Park, Eighth Avenue between Sherman and Tonto streets.
The fair will include social service and health-related information booths, entertainment, prizes and music. The Phoenix Police and Fire departments will be represented at the fair and a Kids Zone will provide children’s activities.
The Phoenix Workforce Connection staff will share job-search resources and Arizona Blood Services will have a donor van. Donors will be provided with a free mini physical including iron level, blood pressure, temperature, pulse and cholesterol levels as well as a free donor blood-type card.
